Apostolates

The Apostolic Spirit comes from our intimate union with the Lord; bringing the good news to the people (Evangelization) and be identified with them in all things except sin.

How we live out the apostolic Spirit.

Our apostolates therefore call for Catechesis, Social work, Education, option for the poor and promotion of social justice, care for the sick and needy” SSMA Constitution no 9.

EDUCATION

We believe that education is power, and it should be made available for all, for this reason we build schools, elementary and high schools where we provide quality and affordable education for the poor, physically challenged and other children who are in urgent need. And we assist some in vocational school to be independent.

HEALTH CARE

We provide direct care to the poor and the sick, giving subsidized health care to people in need mostly in the rural areas, and through mobile clinics, where the people do not have access to modern health care delivery. We also provide free health care during yearly outreach in different dioceses.

SOCIAL JUSTICE

We serve as the advocate and the family of the poor, providing shelter and accommodation including food and other materials, financial assistance, and care to the poor/abandoned elderly. We care for women survivors of trafficking, and other difficult life circumstances. We are the mothers for the abandoned, and motherless babies and the voice of the voiceless. PASTORAL MINISTRY

We live out the Spirit of Christ by providing pastoral guidance and direction. We participate closely in the physical and spiritual life of the church by working with and for the people, the youth, women, couples, and catechumen. We are the bride of the church, and we leave daily to witness to the teaching of Christ in His Church.
